Gmail to IMAP Migration: In Progress

Congratulations, that’s it!

You successfully started to transfer your emails from Gmail to another account! Sit back and relax while your emails are being transferred. 🥳

How long will it take to transfer emails from Gmail to another account?

The time it takes to transfer your emails depends on the amount of data you wish to transfer. Small accounts can be transferred within a few minutes, while larger mailboxes may take some time.

Google slows down the transfer speed of your emails to your new account once a certain data rate is reached, and the transfer may take several hours. However, you don’t have to worry about this. You can simply shut down the MailJerry app and even your computer, as all data is directly transferred between Gmail and your other account.

Can I use my Gmail account during the migration?

Yes! You can use your Gmail account as usual to read, write and send emails during the migration. It’s important, however, to activate the Mailbox Sync for your email transfer. The mailbox sync ensures that emails received (and sent) during the migration will be added to your new account once the initial email transfer is complete.
