Should I use IMAP or POP?
When adding your Runbox email account to an email client, IMAP is usually the best choice for most users. It keeps your emails synchronized across all devices, so you can access the same messages on your phone, tablet, and computer without worrying about backups.
POP is useful if you want to download emails to a single device and free up space on the Runbox server. This is helpful when your email storage is limited or you mostly check your messages from one device.
➡️ In general, IMAP is preferred for everyday email use, while POP is better when you need to save storage space or work offline on a single device.
