How to Access Your Bell Email Address Even Outside Canada:
Do you have an email account with the Canadian telecommunications provider "Bell Canada" and are wondering how to access your emails using a third-party client? If so, you first need to identify the country you're trying to access your Bell emails from:
Accessing your Bell.ca emails within Canada and whitelisted countries:
In many countries, third-party access to your Bell email account is supported. You can simply enter the IMAP, POP, or SMTP settings stated below into your email software, and you'll be all set.
Supported countries include: Australia, Bahamas, Canada, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Spain, United Kingdom, and the United States.
Accessing your Bell.ca emails from restricted countries:
If you're in a location not listed above, you unfortunately won’t be able to use a third-party email client to access your Bell account. However, you can still check your email by using the Bell.ca webmailer.

POP or IMAP: What should I use?
POP and IMAP are both email protocols. But there's one big difference: If you configure your Bell email account with POP3, your emails will be downloaded from the server directly onto your device. This allows you to access your emails even without an internet connection. Additionally, it helps save server space, so you won’t risk exceeding your Bell email storage limit. When opting for POP, please be aware that your emails are no longer stored on the Bell email servers, but only on your device. Therefore, make sure to regularly run a backup of your data!
That said, if you check your Bell email from more than one device, you'll only see the emails on the device where they were first downloaded. So if you're accessing your email on multiple devices, IMAP is a better choice, as it syncs your messages across all your devices.
